Threadless’s Customer Service

with 2 comments

  • Ordered a t-shirt from Threadless.
  • It never turned up.
  • They offered to refund me in full, no complaints needed.
  • They also gave me a $5 voucher for future orders, bringing the whole deal even further into the red for them.

This is pretty excellent customer service. I struggle to see this happening in the UK.

  1. So you ordered something? Didn’t get it? So they gave you your money back? That is what is suppose to happen! You guys over in the UK must have LOW expectations when it comes to service!:)

  2. Well, I was half expecting them to argue that they’d sent it and it had been lost in the post (which is almost certainly the case). And indeed, that is depressingly common.

There is a notable difference with US-based organisations with respect to providing decent customer service. Be proud you guys do it the right way :)
